Hey so I added a fake plant and My C.Virsicolor is starting to extended the webbing
and I have a front opening on the enclosure and it has over night made it to the door of the enclosure.
what should i do just open it and brake the webbing that's on the door??
I'm new to the T Hobby so this kind of stuff I'm not used to lol.

Thanks in advance,
Karl

Yup it’s not going to harm them if you destroy any webbing, even if it happens ever time you open the door.

Fine to destroy webbing.

It's a little annoying but neat! My C. huahini has been doing this. Though, i've found a way to open the lid carefully without destroying webbing.

Welcome to the club. Don’t know what your enclosure looks like, but you could try to add some other anchor points away from the door. It may just very well be that’s the spot it wants to web; it’ll either keep rebuilding the web or move.

A few of mine did that, after opening the door and destroying the web a few times they stopped

My C. versi webs up the door every night. I always have to open it slightly and gently blow on her to get her to move so that I can fill her water dish. She doesn't mind in the least and just goes back to webbing it up again twenty minutes later. ;)

Yup that's pretty common. They'll just rebuild if you destroy webbing. I've given up with my P. ecclesiasticus however 🤣🙄

Yes- how else are you supposed to open the door.
