Here are a few pictures of my opossums, Monodelphis domestica. I have a male and female and I hope my female is ready to breed in a few weeks.

They're very nice and friendly animals, they haven't bit me yet and I hope they will calm down in the future.

More pictures to come

They look mad at you for taking the pictures. Very cute though.

He was a bit mad indeed, most of it is show, hissing and showing teeth, but they are very curious and for some food they will do almost anything.

Nice pic... they bring back so many wonderful memories.

I miss my STO (Nadds) :( , but I know my dubia don't. He was a great roach devouring machine. He dyed at the ripe, old age of 4. Too bad I couldn't replace him because there are no breeders around working with them and no stores will carry them. The latter because of the prairie dog monkey pox that ultimately led to pet stores requiring USDA permits to sell them.

A great website to answer all your questions: http://www.knowyoursto.com/

The male is about 5 months old, the female about 8-9 weeks.

I feed them lot's of insects, heart, chicken and some fruit once in a while

They're found in Brazil, Bolivia and Paragay.

They become tame and can be handled, very nice and very curious animals, when you have something they like they will come to you to inspect it.
