My Israeli gold scorpion isn't moving. Hes been fine until today. Very active, eating every week too. I went to check on him this morning and he wasn't moving. His legs are tucked in under his body. If I lightly touch him, his tail curls a little. But hes just not actually responding. I'm a new scorpion owner, but I dont want him to die. Any suggestions or help?

Could be resting, could be getting ready to molt, could be a variety of things. What's the setup like? Temp, humidity, etc.?

Its 90% a wild caught specimen. Theyee 100% unpredicatbale they look fine until they're not. Theres nothing u can do unless ur housing is wrong
Temp is 83. It's a 2 1/2 gallon tank. He has a mixture of soil and sand to be able to burrow in. He has rocks he likes to dig under. Has a heat pad under on side too. I have no lighting because the woman I bought him from said he didnt need it and what I read about him said it too. He's been eating every week as well

They breed and raised them.......I'd very much like to see that or see pics of the brood if they got em lol

I second what @AracnoDrew says Scorpio maurus is very, very difficult to breed and raise in captivity, even more difficult than Hadrurus arizonenis. All the ones I have seen for sale, and the ones I own, are wild caught.
I read that I had to put it on one side so he can have a cool side and a warm side. I would always check the soil temperatures every day and they did vary in temperature. I read that he didn't need a heat light. Should I now get a heat light and and turn the heat pad?I feel awful because I love the little guy.

You need to raise the temp. to around 30/35 cent. ( 90/95 on your funny F. range ). raise the temp. and spray mist one corner as although they are a desert species they need more moisture than other desert species and dehydrate easily.I would only do this then wait for 3/4 days to see if it recovers before changing anything else.
