Ohhh... and I forgot to ask... the Schultzs suggested "stuffing" the exuvia's opisthoma with a cotton ball to make it stay "plump". It's so delicate, I can't fathom being able to do that... have you ever tried?

No I haven't tried it. Pokies' molts' opisthosomas are very thin and are usually very shriveled so I haven't tried to straighten them out. With bigger molts it's easier.

I tried with my B smithi molt, it looked AWFUL LOL!
However, it actually fooled a couple of people that don't know diddly about spiders :)
