hello all, yesterday at an AMAZING show in South Carolina, i picked up this little bugger. the guy told me it was Vietnamese, so i have reason to believe that it's a Scolopendra subspinipes dehaani. It's about 5" and just as defensive as the rest of them. LOL. got it for 20$. Just thought i'd share ;)

Nice little creature. It looks exactly like mine S. subspinipes dehaani "Cherry red" one:)

Awesome looking pede! I've been debating whether or not to get a S.subspinipes sp., and still haven't decided. Well, good luck with your new addition.

yes i keep wondering whether it's a cherry red, or just a regular dehaani
each segment of the body seems to be a bright orange color and it actually has a green sheen to the the segments... kinda odd. i have a Scolo. subsp. mau chau, normal yellow leg, and it's segments are dark red..
