...has completely changed since I paired him with my female yesterday. He's walking all over the place, webbing a ton, and drumming alot too. The question I have is that he keeps sticking leg one and two up in the air and rubbing them together, first on the right side, then the left... Is there any real reason that they do that?

It's a guy thing. He's high fiving himself. I do that too after I get lucky :D

Hahaha.. Well at least he's proud of himself then. :D

So I paired them yesterday, when would be safe to try it again? He made about 3 good insertions from what I saw, but I want to mate them multiple times to better my chances of some babies :)

I'm certainly not an expert on breeding but I would say wait a day in between and then get them together again.

LOL on the "high fives."

I have paired my MM rosie 13 different times to three different females over the last 5 months. I usually just wait until I notice a new sperm web then I toss him in again. My girls are getting big but still no sac.:8o Goodluck with yours!

Thanks again everyone, I will be pairing them again tomorrow :) My MM made a new sperm web yesterday but I haven't been home much to mate them.
Good luck on those sacs Harrod! :)

Hang in there...Grammostola rosea has been known to wait as long as two years before dropping a sac.

Mine's slowly been getting bigger over the winter, despite not having eaten since October (I think)...so I'm hopeful as well :)

I might see if the local petshop has another male just for good measure.
