my fish is sick......

nevermind, after a bucket water change and the rinsing off of everything in the tank, the fish died.


on the good side my Mississippi map turtle got a meal out of it.

K-Train , sorry to hear about your fish , it might have been to far advanced to save it no matter what you did .

It's not really a good idea to feed diseased animals to other pets.

i know i shouldnt have, but i thought about it, and after a few minutes of research i decided it wouldnt be that dangerous to feed it to my turtle. i did that with the other two fish as well when they died. (if i go to petco and get fish from them, wouldnt that be like feeding them sick fish anyway? only they havent died yet?)

I think the lesson here is not to feed PetCo fish to your turtle, live or dead.

i treated a 75 gallon fresh water tank for ich with the basic ich treatment you can find at any pet store and everything was fine...just my .02
