Since heat rises, I keep my avics high up on the bookshelf. My room is kept no cooler than 75* during the day, and 70* at night. T's tend to abhor radiating heat sources, and you could accidentally cook your T in the process. I've just recently learned that heat sources work best if carried by convection. One method is to use a space heater in a location that keeps the corner of a room a bit warmer than the rest of the room, but isn't too close to your T's. .
I like the space heater idea. First though, I think I'll get a thermometer for my room since I have a very vague idea of my room's temperature on a daily basis(in all weather), but it doesn't get too cold in my room - least to me.

Starting to wonder if Psalmopoeus-to-Singepore blue would be a huge leap. {D

Nope....Not a huge leap at all. After a couple of months of dealing with your SunTigers, you'll be wondering why you didn't get a Pokie to begin with!! LOL

Welcome to the addiction! :D

I've only just started and I already want more species. I'm only getting arboreals right now. I find them really fascinating; love the climbing, leaping and speed.

If robc or someone gets a singepore blue sac, I might buy two of those or two of A. minatrix. I. Hirsutum looks very nice, too. Sigh, so many arachnids... so little time..

Bianca, let me know when yours arrive!

OP, I've got around 35 P.irminia I'm going to raise to juvis then sell off. They are a great species to keep. Very interesting behaviour.
