Hey guys. What is an isopod? And how do I mist a pill vial for slings, I don't want to drown it :p

If you're going to use pill vials, do NOT use the push down and turn ones that have the little rubber piece under the cap. I had a trapdoor sling in one, and it liked to climb and the second I pushed down its leg got caught and got ripped off when I twisted it. Make sure you get the ones that just have the little button on the side that you push to twist. Those don't have the rubber piece that can catch their legs.
What do you mean by push to twist? I'm new to all of this i've only seen twist ones. Like bottle caps you could say.

an isopod are also sow bugs. you might know them as rollie pollies. mist it with a spray bottle set to the best mist possible. and there are pill bottles that just twist shut, then there are ones that you have to push them down, then twist. be better not to use a pill bottle. shouldnt hurt, but if you order a sling from Jamie, it will come in a vial that should be large enough to last for a little while.

Yes but do I mist everything in there? Do I have to take out the sling? Just the substrate? And yeah I figured it would probably come in one.

just mist some of the substrate and one of the sides of the vial. you can just aim mostly at one side and spray a little. if you mist the whole thing, or just the substrate, everything will be fine. they suck the moisture out of the substrate also. nope dont take the sling out. just try not to mist it directly. if you do, it will be fine.

That's a nice spider there, and yes I think I might look for local breeders because at the moment, I have nothing to do online orders with. Which kind of diminishes my choices. And I also need to find the tank which no shop in my area seems to have. Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't know what things are like in CA, but here in WA, all the grocery stores carry visa gift cards and prepayed cards. Safeway (Vons) has been pushing them for people who don't want a bank account. Find out how much you'd need to spend, then you can use the gift card to pay for it.

Hope that helps!

Woah really! Like, do I pay what I want on it? Or how does it work

Generally, put however much you want on it. It costs an activation fee to create the card, and when it runs out of money, you just get a new one. I don't know how universal the fees are, but it's usually $3.95 at our store for any amount.

Just head to your local grocer and they should be able to help you :).
