I've had her for about four months and its my first tarantula. She's about 5 inches, just an estimate. Anyways, just recently she's been doing something I've never seen before.

She'll take her body and plop it on the ground, and curl her legs up tight. Is this how they rest, or something else?

Also, what's a sling? I've seen that term around and can't find a definition of it.

If her legs are going under her, that is not normal. If the legs are held tightly against her, that is a sign of being stressed. Does she have access to water? If the legs are underneath her, you may want to move her to an icu. Essentially, put her in a small container with paper towels at the bottom and a water bowl.
