Hi everybody! I want to show you my beetles


this is Xylotrupes gideon sumatrensis [adult male], I caught it yesterday

this is xylotrupes gideon [adult female]

this is oryctes gnu [adult male]


not just that, I breed them too

Cool Pix! Too bad the usda is paranoid about insects and all, would be cool to get those here ;)

Sorry about that, I just had to post this after that last comment. Megasoma acteon L3 - turned into a very nice male beetle currently in a tank in my office.

wow, that was a huge grub... I'm dreaming to have some of the largest beetle...

So thats what all those larva I find are...haha now I know to keep em when I find em.

nice ted is that an Atlas beetle??
No - it's an 'Elephant beetle' - Megasoma acteon - from South America.

The Atlas Beetle - Chalcosoma atlas - comes from south-east asia.
