So I guess I get to join the club on dead avics!! I am really upset about this I have NO idea what I did wrong!!I am going to try an ICU but its in a deathcurl!!

Warmth is not necessarily a factor. I've recently heard the opposite about Avic slings thriving while being kept at temps below 80 degrees. It makes sense considering inverts can tolerate cold better than heat.I don't either Teal!![]()
Slings are being sold not given away too young/fragile.......I had only one ever die rescently as well! They need ventilation as well as humidity/warmth in young life.....Very hardy once well started....."buffer" in form of bulk to deal with our forced adaptations, humidity wise............................................Buy/trade for juveniles c.b.

That is crazy!! I remember you telling me that the one other sling had died right before we traded!! Its crazy!! I was really starting to enjoy that little fella.. I wasnt holding it but I couldnt wait till it got large enough for me to hold it every once in a while..Could it be the gene pool?
This happened to an A. purpurea I had. One day I looked in on it (1" sling) and it was hanging from a vent at the top of it's cube by one leg.1 of my versi juvies is in an ICU atm aswell. It was acting very uncharacteristically for 2 days before, climbing around the tank walls and not eating post-molt. It molted about 3-4 weeks ago and hasn't eaten since. Yesterday i got home and it was sitting on the tank wall when it suddenly dropped and was hanging by one leg. I put it in an ICU and will check on it today when I got home from work.
I doubt he'll survive though. He looked badly out of shape. Almost but not totally unresponsive.
