My male A. Avic. molted over the weekend! Whoohoo! Now for the dumb question.......... Will he discard the molt himself or do I have to tear open his web to get it?
You can leave it be. The only reason to get it out would be: 1. To check the molt for sex. 2. It just bothers you. Looks like you already know the sex though.
