Moving my roaches to a new container, questions though.

So I followed THIS video for my new roach bin. The bin has been spraypainted about two weeks ago. I finally got some egg crates but I was curious, will the spraypaint harm my B. dubia? I sprayed only the outside but I'm still a little wary. I had to get a clear plastic tub because I keep getting nymphs climbing the side of my other tub.

I love my Dubia roaches. They are so cool.

I've been feeding them repashy bug burger, fish flakes, moistened chick feed, oranges, and scraps. They have been breeding like crazy, but recently my females have started dropping cases so I really need to move them ASAP.

What's in the paint?
Any toxic materials?

If there were,the fresh paint probably had a fairly obvious odor.
If it had,has ALL odor subsided?
When you put your nose VERY close...?

Because "quite close by" is where your roaches will be.

I don't know if it's possible for you but I just keep my 2 clear roach tubs in a closet by themselves. This affords them the darkness they like but also allows me to still observe them when I want to. I have 11,000 B. Lats in two giant clear sterelite bins with reptile heat cables and eggcrates. I feed them roach chow, bee pollen, and fresh veggies, fruits, and water gel.

I have noticed there are 2 type of totes. One with a slick surface and one with a slightly ruff surface. You always want to choose the slick surface. But seeing how you already purchased yours I'm sure it will be fine providing the totes is in a ventilated area. Even though the paint is dry the heat within the totes can heat the paint and produce fumes. Next time I would just use duck tape or black plastic bag. That is what I did on a few of mine.
