A mourning dove fledgling flew badly out of its nest this morning, hit the window of my house, and landed on my front patio. The parents are still there.
I've been assuming the answer is no, but I'm wondering if we should feed it and/or give it water. I had thought that the parents would continue to care for it, and have seen no evidence to the contrary, but I just wanted to make sure that they would and that the best thing really is to leave it.
