Morning Hels!

Thanks for the advice I will be sure to take it out of the tank for feeding. Next time you feed be sure to get pics I would love to see some! :) I actually do have a book by Kathy and Bill Love, called "Corn Snakes The Comprehensive Owners Guide" Great book:)

I do have a queston though. At the size your snakes are at how often do you feed them and how many pinkies do you feed them?
Patrick
Hiya! Most of ours are on two pinkies at the moment, one offered after the other has been swallowed. Our candy canes are on tiny pinks as they're so skinny, the striped, motley and candy cane x motley are on "normal" pinkies and the anery is on small fluffs (one a week) with an added small pinkie every other week. We're feeding them every 7 days, although a window from 5-7 days at that size is fine.
Other people probably feed fewer items more frequently than we do, but we're going by Kathy & Bill's book and breeder advice. Ours seem perfectly healthy and well fleshed, nice and alert, so I'm going to keep on with this regime until they grow some :)

Here's Valkyrie eating her small pinkie dessert last sunday:

She decided to eat in the room with us - didn't want to get back in the box ;)

Hels :)

Nice snake Patrick! :) Corns are the best pet snakes. Here's a few pictures of mine.

This is Nessarose, my female ghost corn.

Here's a Creamsicle I just got.

And here is a Candy Cane, also a recent addition. (It's actually quite red, but it was hard to capture the color in the pictures.)

Look at all the gorgeous snakes :)

Makes me wanna get more {D

I must admit, the names for all the colour varieties leaves me a bit cold sometimes...some of them look so similar! Must do more homework :)

Hels :)

I'm actually finding out that the Candy Cane might really be a reverse Okeetee. I don't know for sure though.

Hell, you could call it a functioning supercalifragalisticexpialicandycane if you like - what it really comes down to, to the layman (that's me ;) ), is they're dead cute and make great pets :D

I don't know if my motley is a motley amel or a motley normal - read one book, he's one, read another and he's another....but I love him!
It's so annoying that their colours don't come out right in pics...none of mine look the same in pics as they do in the flesh.

Anyways, bedtime for me - catch you tomorrow :)

Thanks. :) These snakes are almost as addicting as tarantulas, maybe worse.
