Which species?

Encyocratella olivacea can live in shrubs and at the base of trees. P cambridgei can be found on embankments. 'Arboreal' is kind of a stretch. There are probably other species that do this if they're in an area prone to seasonal flooding. Depending on the terrain's characteristics and how they've responded to them, the same species could be called terrestrial, arboreal. semi-arboreal, or opportunistic. These terms aren't the hard and fast rules some may assume they are. One of the terms taken too literally in the hobby is 'swamp dweller' or 'swamper,' referring to terrestrial species that live in rainforests or high rainfall habitats, such as Theraphosa and Hysterocrates. After hearing this, some people have assumed they almost need a flooded cage, when in reality they only need moist substrate. I keep my Theraphosa slightly on moister sub than Asian terrestrials. A better term for these is 'moisture dependent', as it doesn't conjure up images of a fish aquarium.
