Molt intervals?

Just wondering,

I received my G. Pulchra spiderling on the 21st May this year.
It's first molt in my care occured on the 29th of June, which assuming that it may have molted a few days before it was sent to me I make that about 6 weeks between molts.

This evening it has flipped over:

This is 3 weeks and 5 days since last molt.

So my question is, is such a fluctuation in molt intervals normal?

Thanks.

I believe it is normal based on the conditions your sling is being kept.

The less she is fed, and the lower the temperatures, then the slower she'll molt.
If she is fed a bit more than the previous owner, and the temps are a bit higher, then the molting might be sooner.

But let's see what the other more experienced keepers have to say. I am still a newbie, and even though I try to read all the posts, I am always learning something new :)

I got mine end of september 09. It just molted for the first time in my care in the end of june 10. I would guess next molt mien will be all black. This molt was the stage from fat little spider to a spider with some black velvetyness.

Mine lives in room temp and i don't powerfeed. I keep her fat, but not too large.

All I was aware of was that the intervals are longer as they get bigger -
Mine was 3/4 inch legspan when it arrived and is now 1 inch.
Hopefully (assuming molt is successful) will be 1 1/8 - 1 1/4 tonight.

I kind of expected the molts to be around 6 month intervals for the size it is.

The molt seemed to go well, but is this curl normal?

It is still wriggling though.

Yes, that is perfectly normal :)

In a while longer it'll flip back.
It's very streneous work to molt, so they stay like that for a while before flipping back.
