I know in general mold is pretty harmless to tarantulas . I had two separate little enclosures for my mealworms, one adult/darkling beetles and one started baby mealworms ...one of them I had accidentally left something in that molded some of the oatmeal pretty bad- greenish mold ? for a 3in x 3in patch . I sifted out as much bad oatmeal as I could and put the adults back into the other enclosure but some of the mold dust Went over too .
that was a couple months ago and things have been relatively mold free ever since -- I have not had an outbreak. (I increased ventilation considerably .) Anyway , I now have several large worms and was wondering if they're safe to feed my slings. They possibly ate or lived in partly moldy stuff for a bit so wasn't sure. I figure it's fine but this is my first feeder colony so wasn't 100%
