a little while ago i noticed some mold growing on the side of my p. auratus enclosure. i added some springtails to try and combat the issue quickly but ive only noticed the mold getting worse. my spider is starting to borrow into an area where the mold is prominent and im panicking a little. is now the time to gut the substrate and add more ventilation? should i get a new substrate bag if the other one is contaminated somehow? my first time dealing with a more *moist* terrestrial as he is still a juvenile. pictured below is some of the mold and the enclosure. thank you!

Just let the substrate dry out over time. More ventilation wouldn't hurt. Mold isn't as bad as most people would make it out to be.

Springtails can take a few weeks to propogate to significant numbers and eradicate mold. I've had it take 4-6 weeks+, depending on continuing moisture levels.
