some say you need to mist.

but what i do is water the side of my T cage, to make it moist. the side away from the T.

We have a rosehair and we don't mist ours. We just have an open water dish in her KK with her as rosehairs are a dry species. Our rosie is just fine without misting.

Hope that helps.

as long as it's not a spiderling, G rosea really does not like being misted. If it's tiny, doesn't hurt to mist substrate!
I keep mine bone dry, with a large water dish. Every so often, I overflow the dish a bit.

i guess i keep both of mine like most people....just a water dish in there that i overfill occassionally...other than that no misting.....
i used to mist when i first got my first T (a rosehair) but i soon discovered that he didnt like the misting because it made the substrate too humid....

Same here.. I just over-water the dish sometimes. I've had no problems with my rosies, not even when they molted.
