Millipede food that can be grown at home?

I recently sep up a couple of Spiropoeus Fischeri juveniles at my school, but we've come to realize that it's quite hard to find organic vegetables for a reasonable price.
We do have an assortment of herbs for the guinea pigs and turtles, is that something the millipedes could also eat?
Is there anything else that could be grown (easily) at home?

They do have quite a bit of dead wood and leaf litter to munch on, but we'd like to offer some supplemental veggies every once in a while!

Thank you in advance!

I've grew tomatoes before they were really easy I just planted the seeds and let them grow. It was in a little cheap plastic greenhouse that I had in my back yard, big enough for 2 plants.

Beneficial to Man & Beast.
No Preservatives is a bonus as well, and better taste.

Yeah, that's what I want to do! I'm just trying to figure out which veggies would be best to try out! I need something that will grow relatively quickly indoors, throughout all seasons (since they'll keep living at my school after I graduate in june). I'm looking for something that grows like lettuce, but holds more nutritional value!

I'm also wondering if they'd eat any herbs (we have some left over from the other animals)? I've heard that basil and other members of the mint family should be avoided, but I'm having a hard time finding info about other herbs and similar plants!

I thought about tomatoes, but I'd need something that could (hopefully) be harvested (or regrown) for a longer period of time! I'm graduating in June, and have to make sure that they'll have a continuous food source even after I leave
