I know this has been cleared up now but just wanted to type and show that Pholcus are beautiful spiders. You just struggle to see their beauty. Macro pics however do. Here's a small one that is currently residing in living room.

They have very cute faces. I’ve always hated them, but because I hated seeing them with deformed sad legs. If I had a healthy one as a pet I think I would like it!

I have a few around the house. Just a shame they're buggers for eating house spiders.
