Mesobuthus gibbosus hunting

Last week, I ventured into pine woods of Marmaris (a summer resort on Aegean side of Turkey). I ended up with 6 adult Mesobuthus gibbosus (to be exact : Mesobuthus gibbosus anatolicus - Schenkel, 1947). I used a 51 pcs. LED black light (UV) torch, which was quite sufficient.

Just wanted to share my "hunting trip" with you all. It was fun! Next month, I plan to go to Antalya to find the famous elusive Iurus dufoureius asiaticus. I'll keep you posted.
