Maybe molt time

Well it might be molt time for my baby. Last week her butt was half pink. Now it appears to be solid black. I got worried cause I dropped a cricket in there. Once I noticed what appeared to be a solid black butt I chased that cricket around but finally got it out. This will be her 1st molt with me and she is my 1st T so I am a little nervous

Give it a few weeks she should molt by then. How big is she now? 3.5"?

she is about 2". So should I put the cricket back in or just let her be? I dont mean to ask stupid questions but that is the only way to learn. And I dont want to do anything that will harm her

Keep the cricket out. With a butt like that, she doesn't need to be fed for a while whether or not she's in premolt.

When their abdomens turn black you no longer have to feed, but you still need to provide water. Then you just have to wait!
