how big is your pinktoe?
pics would help.
do you have good ventilation?
do you have stuff for him to climb on?
did he make a hammock-looking web?
if you decide to take pictures, dont move the tank. hes probably molting and taking his sweet time.
pictures!
edit: petshops usually dont know much about tarantulas. you're better off asking here first off. :)

If it's on its back, it's more than likely it is molting...don't be to alarmed I have had pink toes and other arboreal species molt on the ground before..but as to it choosing the the water dish as the spot to start, is crazy. what is the humidity and ventilation like?

If he threw a fit, that's good that he's still alive. If he's upside down again he is surely molting! Leave him be for the rest of the day. Hope for the best! They don't roll over to die!!:)

If you do a search, you'll see many thread about Ts flipping over in their water dishes for a molt.

Moving him wasn't the smartest idea - I would have tried to soak up the water out of the dish and left him.

If he's on his back, then he's molting - Leave him alone!

Don't try to feed him for atleast a week after he molts, and don't touch or disturb him.

Yes, you're overreacting :)

Your spider is growing.. they grow, by molting. Flipping over on their back, is how they usually molt.

There ya go, that's the proper attitude! We love pictures :D

Just make sure to be VERY careful not to disturb him right after he's done... they are very soft, and any injury could result in your spider bleeding to death.

Yepper, Teal's on it! Don't mess with it for 3 days to a week. Let it harden back up. You can still take pictures of it, just don't try and make it pose for you.:)
