Mating Beardies?¿

0y friends have 2 beardies. the big male does his head bob allthe time towards the female. the female will somtimes move her arms like she's swiming in slow motions. he chases her and mounts her i dont knw if she's old enough. she's bout maybe a lil over a foot long and hes almost 2 feet. how will we know when they have officially mated and she's ready tolay and what do we do from ther?

Why don't you try separating them until you have all the questions answered... and go to one of the Beardie specific sites to get some info? I like www.beardeddragon.org myself. There are others, though.

Good Luck! I would answer more, but I really don't know much more than stop the breeding attempts long enough to make sure that it's healthy for both animals, at this point. I only have one little guy... Hugo.. and he's plenty dragon for me...
