Hi All,
Martin took me down to the SPCA "Just to look" at the cats, and we walked out with Lenore :) Just thought I would share some pictures...

You must label her as the cricket/roach escapee catcher/killer! At least that's what my kitty does!

Very cute Amanda and Martin. Congrats!

Well, so far she chases them, but I haven't seen her kill any yet.

Adorable cat! Love the pic of her laying half upside down on the enclosures. Adorable. Let's hope she loves them and doesn't "Love to eat them"! Good luck!

She's beautiful! Looks like she has some Blue British Shorthair in her, too. Very lovely!

I like the pics of her sleeping on top of the rubbermaid tubs. :)

Very cute Kitty congrats :D She looks a lot like my old cat, Storm he had a few little white patches on him though.

I've gotta say though those pics of her climbing on the T enclosures makes my buttocks clench I can see a disaster in the making  but I'm paranoid about such things :D (before I catch flak for that I'm not criticising I know you were supervising ;))

Yeah, you cannot tell, but on those pictures she is sleeping on about 40 X. immanis, X. intermedia and 50 M. robustum slings... and on the one that she is standing, she is sniffing a full load of C. elegans! LOL

Ouch Martin:

One carried away cat could cause a bunch of $$$$ damage in that case. You sure you didn't get it to try and feed to a T. blondi sometime lol

Damn, I'd be scared to have a cat in the house!

But, fear aside, there is one I might be adopting regardless. Keeps coming around the house, no tags, and cute as hell. And uber-friendly.

I was getting the kids into the car this morning and she jumped in the front seat! I was buckling Tanner in, I look up, and there's a cat staring at me! LOL Scared the crap out of me for a second until I realized what it was. :)

Cute kitty, and Lenore must be the most perfect name ever for her!

Are you cracking walnuts?

LOL! Loosen up, she just sniffs around. She hasn't tried to play with anything (yet).

The very key word "yet" lol. As soon as this cat thinks that tarantula room is hers bottles and jars are gonna roll lol

Just my view on cats

Cheers
Goodluck with it Amanda

I'm just jealous that you have a cat that chases crickets, even if she hasn't killed any. My cat, all 30 pounds of her, won't get off the couch unless it's to eat or run from the ferret. The couch apparently is the appropriate spot to cricket gaze as well. She's also not allowed in the spider room, as I just know she'd be knocking things over, including the roach bins. Graceful she is not!

Congrats Amanda and Martin on the new addition! She certainly is cute!

My cat chases the crickets, sometimes eats them, and eats any other bug she can get. I hope one of my T's never gets loose.

Except for overall build and gender (which probably contributes a bit to gandalf's massive frame), she looks exactly like my friend's cat, Gandalf.
