Wow, I can't believe I've missed this thread all this time.

GORGEOUS spiders and scorps, Marcelo, and beautiful pictures. :clap: :)

I cracked up laughing when I saw "Hairy's" underside. Looks like the top of my head on a bad hair day. {D

The vagan slings hatched out in Nov 05. I haven't any pictures yet but will have some this weekend. I love the smithis I have 3 of them.

Hey Penney:
yes slings are a bit strange,they grow at different times. Now I keep around 30 B smithis slings. Males grow a lot faster than girls, so when the girls became mature, males will be dead Do you have pics of your Vagans slings ? when did they hatch?
mines hatched on may 2005.
The good think you can choose the best ones.

It is important to say, the last Tarantula pic posted on this reply belogs to my friend Rodrigo, better now as "Bananaman". He brang some Ts to my place to be pictured.
The pic itself and the tarantula are awesome for me, specially the texture

hey marcelo, great pictures! thanks for photographing mine... it turns out, that it's correct name is Acanthognathus francki... and "apparently" it is NOT a tarantula, but a very close relative... :confused: im not sure, im still investigating...

Self-portraits

HELLO Guys !!!!

A few days ago I got the idea to take pics of some of my portraits along with some of my tarantulas. Yesterday that idea was cristalized with the excelent help and work of our friend "Rodrigo" better know as " the bananaman".

The thing was "our self-portraits" were so frightened of the tarantulas that they still alive.

Please wait more Brachypelmas pics during this week
