I have now given the shop a good seeing too and told the manager that if he continues to sell spiders he must make sure the staff know how to look after them. They told me that this spider has been in there shop for 2 months so it is clearly there lack of knowledge and care that has given this lad a hard time. As for refunds they offered me a swop. I said no i will keep this spider and they offered me another one for free. So thats good news.

A lot of it has to do with where they are collected...since A. avicularia is almost certainly more than one species.

Yeah, nice pics.

And give him the best you can while you have him. You should buy him a date and raise some babies. Then you can provide that same store with some nice CB ones. After you become the store manager and personally see that they are all taken care of properly, lol.
Or you could just sell them yourself.
