I dont clean my cages very often at all. I pick out bits and pieces of crap from dead crickets and stuff but I really only clean my Avic commune regularly because of the poo splatters all over the walls and because i cant get tongs to the bottom because of all teh branches I have in there getting in the way. So every month or so I go through it and make it pretty. In fact I am gonna go do it now.

Brachy hair has always been bad for me, especially B smithi. I can't stand to do any cage maintenence for my poor girl, and just thinking about handling her makes me start itching! Weirdly enough though, B albopilosum is not nearly as bad.
My L parahybana is pretty awful, and he doesn't even flick...just handling him is bad enough, I have to take a shower afterwards.
I have never been near T blondi, I have no idea how bad (or not) it would actually be.

My old B smithi had the worst hairs. For a while I had a couple B albopilosums and they were terrible too. But alas the worst is my L parahybana and my T blondi.
