LOL! It's a coconut that someone painted like a fish LOL!
She loves it...though I think it's rather garish..it doesn't seem to bother her :D

Edit:
say, that reminds me:
fish heads, fish heads, roly poly fish heads
fish heads, fish heads, eat them up...YUM!

Well, the fish head is pretty cool. Gives a certain je ne sais quoi to the old vivarium ;)

That is a very beautiful hide. I just make stuff out of household items.

say.......could we see a full shot of that fish head coconut......might give us some ideas, eh?
is that an adult female robustum, Holley? I have three adult females and I only see them at night when the light has been off for a while, they are very secretive. one of the females has filled her hide (a 2" square plastic raingutter downspout cut to fit the kritter keeper length wise) almost full with substrate and has no place to hide anymore, I may have to rehouse her with a coconut hide.

here's the thing...I didn't paint it LOL! I bought it at Goodwill for .50 :)
I will take some pics later and post them...
I don't know if she's an adult Ed, she's not that large, but I'm not sure how big she is supposed to get..I've heard quite large?
It's so dark in there, that she seems content, and may come out at night, but I never see her.

I have never really measured any of my females, but 6 to 7" easily, might even be a bit larger than 7" (hey....I am a guy, not good at estimating things in inches)

HA! We're great at estimating things in inches, the question is can we estimate them correctly?

Here's a picture of one of my mature females. I'd say 6-7" easy.
