got this lovely gravid female the other day, decent sized species, 7cm legspan nice and chunky originally from india, anyone is free to try and identify to species level. the chelicerae are 'normal' colour when viewed from above, but change colour depending on the angle at which you look at them (right through to vivid red when viewed from slightly below)

no idea sorry. but a little help maybe...
the genus lycosa is proposed to be a european genus. this and a superficial look at the not so useful pictures lead me to the conclusion that this maybe is not a lycosa.
so it seems better to think about the genus first.
hope this was a tiny help.
