not an expert, but I've found pics of "Pursewebs" that look similar to the red/black unknown.

They seem to have the same, uh, arms (pedipalps?) as the unknown in the pictures.. with little stinger shaped nubs.

Could the unknown belong to the Purseweb (Atypidae) family?

my first thought was Sphodros rufipes also... but i have no idea (and kind of doubt) they range that far south
