I came into a specimen of a Nebo whitei, ~2.5", I have seen a lot of conflicting information on keeping this species and recently found more conflicting info and I would like to know what has worked for others.
For about a year I have kept it in an arid setup, with sand, coco fiber, and excavator clay, kept at 90 F, occasionally filling a water dish. It has several hides that it crawls under but I've never seen it try to burrow.

I have seen others saying that they keep them quite humid and mist regularly. Mine has done fine in this setup for the time I've had it- it's very active and my most aggressive feeder out of all of my scorpions. But I am concerned that it has not molted yet. Has anyone had success in having them molt? What conditions were you keeping yours in when it molted? Are they just very slow growing? I love this scorpion and would like to have it grow to its full size!

That sounds like a decent setup, maybe a bit on the warmer side for these guys, but if you're trying to grow them up quickly then keeping them a bit warmer isn't a bad idea. They can use having substrate that holds moisture a bit better than excavator clay, something like a dirt, sand, & peat moss mixture would be good, but nothing kept heavily moist like with Heterometrinae or Pandininae. 50-60% humidity is just fine for them, misting on occasion. How often are you offering food?

I could try different substrate! I feed it 1-2 medium crickets a week. Have you gotten one to molt before?
