Locusts????????

How many of you use/recommend locusts as the primary feeding bug for your Ts.I was recommended them for my Pinktoe and yep it definately seems to prefer them to cricks.Would locusts be ok to use instead of crickets or should I mix the two??????

locusts are very high in vegetable gut content, so would make a good staple diet, but its always a good idea to change the menu every once in a while

Heh, locusts was tried as food for my Avic last year's November..she got spooked by them and escaped into her web. She's basically been there ever since Not eaten a thing in all this time. Hope she snaps out of it soon--.

My point was this : Big locusts I do believe have a tendency to scare Avics.
