Lobster Scorpion?

Greetings all,
Over the course of the past two weeks , a couple of different people who know of my "hobby", have approached me asking about "lobster scorpions"?!?!

The have all said that they heard that they are huge , biggest in the world, blah blah blah..... from Sumatra or india or somewhere.....
I had heard long ago about them, but cant find any info on anything with the common name of lobster scorp. I also think i heard somewhere that it was a falicy or mistaken identity or something....

So can someone give me the low down on the "Lobster Scorpion" please?

I believe they were referring to Heterometrus swammerdami. They are quite large, from India, and I have heard of them being called land lobsters.

Either this or they have no idea what they're talking about and have watched some half wit documentary

You know, i mentioned that i thought they were reffering to H. swammerdammi....

and i also think that most of were they got thier "information" from was some documentary or something.... so i dont know.

Just thought it was weird that like 3 diff people brought it up with in two weeks...
