So I checked on my wood scorpions last night and one of them had given birth, this was about 11pm last night and there were 4 scorplings on her back, woke up for work at 5am this morning and there were 6, question is how many should I expect her to have on average? I know birth can take them a while so there could be a few more coming, but I was told before that they usually drop upwards of 20 in one brood, any input would be appreciated, thank you

I'm confused. So are they wood scorpions or Liocheles Australasiae? Depending on the species the number of broods will be different

Liocheles Australasiae are pygmy wood scorpions, just 2 different names for the same scorpion. But they are known as dwarf wood scorpions. And it had 22 scorplings from this brood

Oh okay i thought you meant the "true" wood scorpions i.e. Cercophonius squama
No haha just dwarf wood scorpions, they were cheap a few months ago so I got a few, one has had babies already and another looks gravid but I was not sure at first how many scorplings they have, but the first had 22 so expecting around the same again

Have you tried the classifieds on this forum ?
I've looked through them. I'm new to the site and haven't been on any forums in years (Facebook groups have spoiled me lol) so I'm trying to refamiliarize myself with using a forum.

I would try on the forum's classifieds to see if there's any there and failing that, maybe post a want to buy or looking for ad in the classifieds because there are some great breeders on here:
