I was debating on putting a little LED light on top of my OBT enclosure. I figure to mimic day and night cycles. I want to get everyone's opinion on it first before I go ahead and do it. Thanx for everyone's opinion.

Mine seems happy in the dark; turn on a light and it runs into its nice dark burrow.

Don’t need to, but it won’t hurt provided it’s not too bright. Some LED are too bright

Try it. I'm curious if it will ever stay out in the open when the light is on. If so, maybe my S. calceatum will too.

If there not getting a natural day cycle already (like in a cupboard/wardrobe) then should be quite a good idea, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

They don't need a natural day cycle. Some species live in burrows or in a hollowed tree and won't see light for weeks or even months.
Whether they need it or not it happens so there is nothing wrong with it that's my point
