More of an appreciation thread, but I'll be honest, been interested in keeping these guys. I've been reading 4-6 inches of sub, a cork bark hide, lots of leaf litter and keeping them dry, with of course a misting on a side of the enclosure.
What else have you learned from keeping this species?

They're true spiders lol they live longer than most. They're fossorial, give 'em a foot of dirt. My male in this pic lived for 2 years before he got eaten. I've got some juvies over 2 years old rn. Dude in my pic <- has his own meme coin on pulsechain, he lives forever https://www.geckoterminal.com/pulsechain/pools/0x0bc0d5963bef555fd7b9e3f7df74f65e89c080e1
lol.
Awesome species, what you want to know?
Wow, these are beautiful spiders!
That is so interesting that they build turrets straight down, I don't know that I have ever seen that.

Have you noticed a difference between behavior or activity by collecting native soil vs. Reptisoil or the like?

I feel like the larger they get, the slower they get, but maybe they just are not displaced and have built a burrow like you mentioned?
