I've been having similar problems with my 2 LQ's. One hasn't eaten since January and the other ate for the first time since then last week. Honestly, they couldn't be more boring and unimpressive. I never see them during the day. I rarely see them at night. They just stay under their bark pieces all day. And run away from their food. Wish I never bought them.
IDK all of mine are fat asf and still eat nonstop its almost impressive. They dont super active but i dont expecting this from scorpion anyway. I keeping them just at room temp (i have radiator but no central heater) and i live in cold country

They're not even 4th instar. They've been pretty much the same as when I first got them. My fat tail eats way more, and it's in a cooler environment then the LQ's. I keep the LQ's in the 80s. They just don't do anything except starve themselves. The one is getting really thin and the one that finally ate is looking somewhat healthy.

Low 80s? If so, try raising the temp to high 80s or low 90s.

Yeah @Geb Arachnia Whitney, low 80's Fahrenheit is barely warm for a LQ.
I keep mine at about 32-37°C (89-99°F) and they love it. They like it baking hot.
Just remember that 115°F is maximum,
that would be dangerous to them since their exoskeleton won't hold moisture inside at 122°F which means instant death for them.

Alright, this is awesome, thanks guys! I think that's what the problem was. Hopefully this new method will work out for me. Thank you! I've just recently gotten into scorpions and centipedes and it's definitely nerve wracking being in such murky waters, but it's been just as rewarding as my true spiders
