Leech?

:eek: wow that was a biggie alright it's looks like a leech to me(not the parasitic kind) that "worm" it was eating looked like a caecilian(worm like amphibian) either way very impressive what location was this being observed?

I was also thinking there was a caecilian in the mix. As far as location goes - it says it's in the mountains of Japan. Thanks for the reply.

That's definately a land leech eating an earthworm, but I am unfamiliar with Japanese species so I cannot help beyond that.

I've seen leeches with the orange striping here in Ontario but never that large. That's a pretty big earthworm as well come to think of it.

yes that was a very impressive leech:clap: i luv the biggies{D definitly wouldn't mind having the 1 in my collection.
