You probably read about them laying down layers of hairs to deter predators. While mice are not generally considered predators in the strictest terms, they could certainly be a threat to a LP during a moult.
There are indeed Archer fish (family Toxotidae) that spit jets of water at insects for them to fall in the water. It’s fun to trick them to shoot water at a wiggling finger! They are very accurate!there are fish that shoot water up out of the water to catch insects.
Unfortunately this doesn’t happen, it would be fun to watch though.maybe trantualas could do the same with their bristiles.
i think i read somewhere that some trantulas kick bristles enmass to catch mice?
