Yuuuuup! And….the size increase for needed space is drastic too especially witub some large species!Alot of new keepers rush collecting too fast and don't equate that into the formula.
I've took it all into consideration don't worry, I'm a responsible person.Take into account when all these slings are adults.
Adults = bigger enclosures that take up more space than a tiny deli cup or vial.

No one’s saying specifically otherwise, but we’ve seen lots of people come collect slings up rapidly and then not be around long term. Another thing aside from space that can be overlooked is that cost of adult enclosures can be significant depending on material and if needing to do 30x at a time it can be a pretty penny just to get them housed in adult set ups. There are also very economical alternatives too but even those things add up, like racks and tubs, etcI've took it all into consideration don't worry, I'm a responsible person.
I’ve heard experienced keepers say , how many new keepers don’t understand how long lived these spiders are. It’s a long term commitment, unless you happen to get unlucky and have all short lived fast growing males. But that’s rather unlikely. Actuality 75% of my larger sling purchases were males. 10+ at a time.No one’s saying specifically otherwise, but we’ve seen lots of people come collect slings up rapidly and then not be around long term. Yes exactly, like my Grammostola that can very likely still be with me in 30+ years. Tarantulas are not minimal investments to be overlooked, no amimals needs of an entire lifetime should be overlooked ever, but I think people skip over the fact of just how long sone of the species even males can live!!I’ve heard experienced keepers say , how many new keepers don’t understand how long lived these spiders are. Nice , if you find any good clear containers, post them here. It’s a challenge finding good ones. Although I’m not In The uk so .. I’ll just have to get the American version.I fully understand the point you are all trying to make, but I have thought it through, I have the space to store these Ts as adults in stackable tubs and I have more than enough time on my hands to care for them all. Thank you all for your concern but I'm pretty certain that I've got this covered.
hooray !Hey guys, just thought I would let you all know that I got up this morning and done my usual checks and noticed what I at first took for a T haphazardly poking out of the hide, upon further inspection I realised it was actually a molt, so it has molted successfully and will hopefully show face for some well deserved food.
I will do, I'm still kind of looking around to see what works best for me. As you said, I'm in the UK so some of my sources may not be available to you and vice versa, but I will definitely post what I find on my excursions.Nice , if you find any good clear containers, post them here. Best plastic storage containers??
I can’t find plastic containers like I used to buy at target . I found one I wanted but oddly the lid and price weren’t present . I don’t know we’re to get cheap clear containers anymore. Im Tired of wasting gas driving around to no avail checking stores and I can’t find clear enough containers...arachnoboards.com
