So I received a L.Klugi (around 4cm/1.5in) on the 11th of July set it up in its enclosure, it wandered around a little bit then swiftly ran into the starter burrow I had made under the cork bark, and this is where it has remained since, it has blocked up the entrance and I haven't seen it since.. I am fully aware that this behaviour it's reasonably normal for Ts but I was just wondering whether it was worth carefully lifting the cork bark and having a peek to make sure everything is OK and there hasn't been any complications with a molt. Thanks in advance for your advice 😊

I generally don’t mess with them after my lp dug A burrow under its starter hide.
I like to see other peoples opinions.

Yeah my general thoughts is to just leave it but I do really want to make sure its OK seeing as I literally had it a few hours and haven't seen it since. Just thought I'd ask other people's opinion on it.

So just leave it be? Got no problems with that, will just top up the water dish as and when it's needed. Thank you
Yeah just don’t water it like I did in that post try the entrance to the burrow. Most people would say it’s like a sealed shut /stay away sign. when the burrow is sealed.

You mean try dripping some water at the entrance to the burrow?

I'll leave it be and wait it out, that was my initial thoughts anyway but just wanted to see what other people thought.

Yeah but that’s just if it stays in there for weeks. Or months as of today yes 👍 leave it be.. is correct ✅

I drip water near its burrow, not on it. The soil will dampen to one side of him, not on him.

no need to stress it out all over again right when its getting settled into its new home and possible getting ready to molt days/weeks or month from now just make sure it has a water dish filled with clean water daily. also since your feeling bit disappointed on how long you got to see it. best thing you can do is buy a few more

Yeah most definitely just going to leave it be and keep water topped up.. I have every intention of getting more, actually have a few on order 😅

careful, the first few douzend make almost no difference in terms of work ...

its easy to grow the collection too fast...

but then again, since you are already here on the forum, you are likely lost already :troll:

I've set a limit of around 30 for the time being until we move house and I have room for more haha

Just let it do it’s thang!it’s doing just fine acting the way it’s supposed to act! It will come out when it’s ready, likely not before that. Until then wait!!

Take into account when all these slings are adults.

Adults = bigger enclosures that take up more space than a tiny deli cup or vial.

Alot of new keepers rush collecting too fast and don't equate that into the formula.
