dude, you have like... 2 random larva and you take a stab at a caresheet?
and that really is stretching the definition of "caresheet", man it's woeful
just being honest because any more of this and my eyes may start to bleed.

Well do you know how to take care of larder beetles i dont think so but hey im only 14 watta expect?

actually, I do. I have kept several thousand and use them to strip carcasses, kid.

Ha, that made me laugh a little. Hmm, the "no mite prob" made me wonder if the newborns might eat and get rid of unwanted mites. I don't know, I've never messed with these but the idea of it sounds pretty cool.

well, that depends on where you live and how clean your house is. ;)

Vulgaris; I'm sure you could find some around a carcass of some sort, if you have any frozen mice or anything simmilar, dump it outside and see what happens. I only got these because they come in cricket tubs as "rolly pollies" so I don't know alot about these beetles. I'm just going on personal experience and they have been thriving they way I'm keeping them at the moment.

OMG! they are not eating are they not hungry?stress?i leave them in the dark at daytime...

Um how do you know?

My one larva that I raised hardly ate anything, I just gave it some fish food and left it alone for three weeks and it was an adult when I checked back in on it

I'm sure they are eating and you just don't realize it.

I p.med calum and he said it could be a premoult and now that i look it looks like the fly[the food] has a hole and you can see its guts!:}

I thought of something cool!Im going to have a colony of larderbeetles [just like ants!]ill have a setup just like ants ill have a foraging area and a lot of chambers ill update when im done:D
