I'd say it depends on how large the L.parahybana is that you're talking about... Slings may not even appear to fast if you feed them 3-4 days apart, or they may not eat for up to a month. The adults are pretty much the same though I'd say that most will fast at least a couple weeks. Others may go several months without eating before they molt. I've found they do get grumpy though close to the molt though
I have a 4.5 incher that hasnt eatin since i got him just about 2 months ao and his abdomen turned black last monday so anytime within the next week or so i should be getting a molt, but yeah mine has fasted 2 months atleast
