Keeping Pseudoscorpions?

Im a beekeeper and am looking for info on potentially keeping Pseudoscorpions. I was refered here from another search. From what I gather they dont overwinter in cold so they would have to be house pets? Which is ok, if I could figure out what they like.

Anyone raise them? Any info would be appreciated. The research is still pretty new but deff worth playing with. Im really wondering if I put the suggested two in a hive... would they run out of mites to eat? How would you tell if you could never locate them again? Do they leave "signs" of their activities? or do I need to put old books in the hives?

As far as I know the biggest species can reach up to 0.5 cm. They usually eat ants and small bugs...
I usually see them under rocks, but it's hard to see those little creatures...

Im trying to decide if there is a way I could raise them maybe inside my house. If they eat books than a house should be fine. Then I could add a couple to each hive every spring. Maybe again towards fall as they wont overwinter here. But Im clueless on where to locate some. I had heard someone on this board sold them.

Look under rocks. The can eat only small bugs, that's why they are pretty hard to keep... They are not so common but it's not so rare to flip a rock and see a group of adults.
I suggest of taking another inverts instead of them... Scorpion or a vinegaroon...

If one is discovered to eat viro mites id stsnd in line. But this is the first one ever. But i read they dont live this far north. So hunting them up is out too.

Pseudoscorpions live all over the world including much colder areas than Pensylvania, they are literaly in every garden, park or forrest. There are many species of them, you can find them in leaf litter, composts, tree holows, in crevicles and under bark and so on. Just few species live in houses. They don't eat books, they hunt for booklice there.
