The OP isn't very clear... Why did you purchase 9 of them if you didn't want them?

I have 9 of them and there is one smaller than all of them and they are sac mates so I'm not sure if I should cull the weak and small one.

why would you cull 9 slings? It's only 9. Keep them separate, and feed them. If one(or more) happens to die so be it. It's only 1 extra sling. Unless of course I'm misunderstanding the question....

Put em up for adoption? If you don't want them why not offer someone else the same enjoyment that we get out of them. They pay shipping or local pick up. Theres always someone willing to take an extra T or 2 specially when they are free.

True I will try power feeding it when it molts and it hardens up. You're right bigred rather put it up for adoption but since people say the become females I will raise it until it's a adult.

It's not a race. It could well be a female, most of the rest could be males.

What is nurture
Care for/ raise them.

JUst because some are outgrowing others wot certify their sex, some just grow at different rates.
But if you want to part ways with them because of their speed of growth, no offense but you need to find a new hobby, as this one needs a whole lot of patience.

Did you buy these or raise these yourself? If you raised them and want to cull, then go for it. If you bought them, then culling makes little sense since you are basically throwing money you spent away.

Culling them makes no sense regardless, why kill an animal for nothing? Give them away, one of my Haplopelma schmidti slings is TWO moults behind the other two, should I kill that? Different spiders grow differently even from the same species, sac even, doesn't mean that characteristic is punishable by death, this is quite frankly ridiculous, I could ALMOST see how somebody may think about it if they had like 3 L.parahybana sacs simultaneously and couldn't te rid of 6000 slings that were costin an arm and a leg to feed, even then I'd let them cannibalise until they became manageable, but you have a few slings here, chances are the box of crickets would die out before they ate them all so they're doing you a favour really, I really cannot understand why these thoughts would enter your head...

I cull via cannibalism. I want manageable numbers of the strongest specimens to raise and/or sell. If YOU don't want to, fine and dandy. But I don't see the need to act like it is the "ermahgerd most despicable act evar" to cull specimens. If the OP feelw this spider is sickly and doesn't feel the desire to either pay for shipping or trade, then that is his/her choice and not a terrible thing.

I don't see the need for you to get clever and start mouthing off either, he has 9 slings my 4 million that are eating him out of house and home, did you not read my last post quie frankly I think it is a ridiculous post for nothing more than attention as was your abrasive reply to what I see as a valid point tI an otherwise pointless thread...

What was "abrasive" about my post? Everyone responding to the OP was far more abravsive than I was. I wasn't rude nor offensive - I simply made a jest these over the top responses of "find a different hobby" . You need to be a little less sensitive if you think a post without name calling, mockery, anger, profanity etc is "abrasive".

"But I don't see the need to act like it is the "ermahgerd most despicable act evar", insinuating I'm overreacting, I outlined for the OP in as kind a way as possible that as I said the only point in culling is when numbers aren't manageable, or as you pointed out if it is sick (as I once euthanised a MM haplopelma that was quite obviously suffering) maybe some people don't feel so strongly but it REALLY REALLY pees me off when anybody kills ANY animal for nothing, I don't even like to see people kill "pest" inverts etc
