Just got a KBT about and 3-3.5 inch DLS size made her this enclosure and i'm just kinda worried because she's always in her burrow not drinking water i placed her water dish at the top

is her enclosure okay? or i need to make her a new one? like more wider one but has the same depth

its fosorrial so your not gonna see it topside much at all just keep dish clean and filled with water(everyday probably) depth is fine it will use all the space you give it to dig. mine always hollows out the bottom few inches of every cage i have given it and i would wake up to piles of dirt each morning. just use a spoon to remove the piles and once its done making a few chambers tunnels it will quit for a bit until it starts expanding things again before a molt etc. good luck and enjoy. also it will most likely have its burrow entrances plugged up alot so what i do is unplug them some times and leave an all the way dead pre killed feeder for it to eat and remove the next day if uneaten(some really old threads about these ts being dumb enough to starve/dehydrate themselves to death)hence my reasoning to make small openings into the plugged burrows for mine to replug and find the dead feeders

Can you give the dimensions of the container?

I wouldn't worry about the water. Just make sure it's available.

A T your size could go in a pretty large container. A 3.5" P muticus would have no issue in a 12"+ container. Whatever you can provide in terms of space etc. They enjoy digging so why not give them more is my train of thought.

I'm planning on housing my Hysterocrates in these containers. But one day my P muticus will go in one too.

It's the kind of t that will spend most of its life in a burrow, it's the opposite of what you would call a display species.

Tarantulas drink VERY infrequently....many people never witness their ts drinking.....but it doesn't mean they don't.
